After several solid years of Swiss franc appreciation vs. the U.S. dollar, the Swiss currency has given up some of those gains starting in the beginning of 2005. While the Swiss economy has seen some improvement in its economic numbers of late, the jury is still out as to whether the U.S. dollar/Swiss franc rate (USD/CHF) will be able to successfully test and surpass resistance at the July peak around $1.30 between now and year-end.
