The New Zealand dollar has rallied vs. the U.S. dollar since early July, strengthening from a low at .6684 to the .7060 area in mid-August. Short-term, additional upside extension was possible toward the late June peak around .7150/.7200, “but that should be the upper limit,” Dolan says.
Looking toward the rest of the year, Economy.com’s Levine sees renewed kiwi depreciation toward the .67 area.
