The same 184 countries that comprise the IMF also make up the World Bank. Unlike the IMF, however, the World Bank’s focus is helping poor or developing countries improve their standard of living by offering loans for education, health, infrastructure, and other projects.
Currently, the World Bank is involved in projects such as AIDS prevention in Guinea and health-care delivery in Mexico.
