- France’s May unemployment rate remained at 10.2 percent, a 0.2-percent increase over May 2004.
- Germany’s June jobless rate dropped 0.3 percent to 11.3 percent compared to the previous month, an increase of 1.1 percent on the same month in 2004.
- The March-May jobless rate in the UK remained stable at 4.8 percent, but fell 0.1 percent from the same period a year earlier.
